Can anyone help me. I am looking for a manual covering my backhoe/loader manufactured by Henry Manufacturing for Alllis-Chalmers. It's on a D-15 industrial tractor. I am told that henry also made units for International as well as others. The backhoe digs, but doesn't swing. I believe the vane pump needs work. Any parts manuals etc. will be helpful. Thanks,
Mike

Have you had any luck finding parts? I have a Henry backhoe and have had no luck finding a
boom cylinder with a 36" piston rod. Would
appreciate any info that you might be able to
pass on. * Henry Company was located in Topeka, Kansas * The company's blue were supposedly sold to Minn-par

>>If it digs well, rule out the pump as a cause for not swinging. Cylinder packings can be the most likely culprit if it uses double acting cylinder(s) to swing. Also could be in the valve, most likely a stuck circuit relief valve, if equipped. Cap the lines going to the swing cylinder(s), momentarily activate the valve, and listen for the hiss of the main relief valve. If you don't hear it, look into valve. If you do, check cylinder packing. Be careful around high pressure oil!

Can't help with the manual, but looking for info about parts for one on a small JD dozer. My dad has one with a casting that keeps breaking, my have to scrap it if not able to get ideas or parts. If you find anything that you think may help, please post. Also, he has used this setup for a few years and may be able to help you if you have a specific problem. Lots of luck.

I think i an in the same boat as you. except i am not sure that my backhoe is a henry. It has a round tubular frame, and manual outriggers. it has two cables attached to a hyd. cyl that makes the boom swing left or right. both cables are broken. does this sound like a henry, and do you know how the cables are routed? thanks

Do you know what model it is? I have a Henry L-99 industrial loader on a D-12. It is very similar to the L-200 made for the D-15. I'm also looking for manuals.
