Trying to get D15 working again.

This A/C has been sitting in the barn for 3 years. I cleaned the plugs and got it to fire using starting fluid. I have S/N D15 8169. Does anyone know what year this is? One rear wheel is rusted bad and needs replacing. It has 13.6 X 26 tires on it. Can I put 28's on it (if I can find some used) and not lose to much power? I'm on a budget(like everyone). What is the cheapest, best route. I've pulled the carb off and it is soaking right now. Where can I get a rebuild kit for the carb? I have a 3-point bushog. How difficult would it be to custom make an adapter for it. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.

It is a 1962. If you take off the original wheels and rims it is a good idea to save them in case you ever want to sell the tractor. Without original wheels the resale value is hurt. The cheapest route usually is to just replace or patch the bad rim. If that can't be done some people buy used Gleaner rims and tires cheap and put those on. I have built many hitches and have concluded that buying a kit is cheaper and better in the long run. Carb kits can be bought at Quality Tractor 1-888-828-3276.
