WD hotter plugs

Need plugs one or two ranges hotter than champion J-8-C for mild fouling problem in WD. Unfortunately the local yokels up here on the tundra don't speak, (or stock much) in, AC or Autolite. I need the actual numbers so I can tell them what to order. HELP. I'm really getting frustrated!!

tom, I work at a parts store in west central Ohio called Rodefelds. Hope I can help. As some of the other guys have pointed out, champions sometimes don't seem to last. The next heat range in champion would be a J10c or J10YC. the only difference being the YC features a projected tip, which is about a half step hotter. Sometimes Champion is a little flakey on their cataloging, since they seem to obsolete part numbers qiute frequently. AC on the other hand is a little easier to understand. the J8 equivalent is 45 (or R45 for resistor type). To
increase heat range, you simply add one. (E.G. 46 or R46). Also adding an S suffix will give you the extended tip. Hope this helps

Tom Champion plugs will not last very long in allis tractors. They tend to foul after a very short time after installing them. Use AC 45 none resttior plugs. If the engine is burning oil you can get the double elctored plugs, they will burn through the oil. What do you use the tractor for?

Here in Pine River and Brainerd Minnesota, NAPA, Auto Value, Champion Auto and Fleet Farm have been unable (or in one case unwilling)to help. That's why I asked the question. The reference to tundra was an attempt to interject humor into an otherwise irritating situation.
