I'm looking at a 1973 185AC deisel tractor in what seems to be good working condition, however the paint is wearing thin. It has 2 remotes, duel rear wheels all rubber is good' it starts great and does'nt smoke at all. Can anyone give me an idea of what this tractor is worth.

There is a 1974 185 listed on the Tractor Values board. The condition given is restored and the price is $3000. I don't know much about 185's but that sounds cheap. The tractor that you described has done a lot of heavy pulling, I would think because of the duals. Those were not put on to rake and bale hay. Maybe someone else will come on and help you. I have a 175 and like it plenty.

Hi, I paid 8,000 for a model 180 diesel approx
4 years ago, but it included gang disc, 12 ft box
blade, rolling cult, 5 mf plows, i could have bought just tractor for 6,000, it just a guessing
game buying a tractor that old, but look at overall appearance and go from there., good luck
