Cylinder Hydraulics Failure on AC7060

You need to start by checking the stand-by pressure of the piston pump. On the rear of the tractor on the right side you will see a Tee with a hose attached to the front of the tee and the rear of the tee capped. Remove the cap and attach a hydraulic hose with a #6 JIC female end on the hose to the tee with a 5,000 PSI pressure gauge on the other end of the hose. Start the tractor and with the hydraulic levers in neutral the gauge should read the stand-by pressure that the piston pump is producing. The pressure should be in the 400 to 600 PSI range. If the pressure is much lower then the piston pump will not produce high pressure when you pull a hydraulic lever. If the stand-by pressure is low, then you will need to check for a broken spring in the low pressure spool of the compensator valve. The compensator valve is located on the front of the piston pump which is on the right side of the tractor beneath the batteries. The compensator valve will have a large and a small hex cap facing out toward you when you look at the valve. Remove the small cap and check for a broken spring or broken spring stop. This is usually what I find to be the problem in a situation like yours. There are shims between the cap and the spring that you don't want to lose when you remove the cap.
