....I own various AC's...including their little 5020 import diesel(78'-85'). I am running into dead ends trying to find a replacement exhaust manifold for this tractor. Over 5000 were sold in the U.S. and Canada during that time. Most larger yards I've called have yet to have one show up. If anyone knows of a smaller yard or an individual who has a broke 5020 with the exhaust manifold still on...PLEASE let me know here or at my e-mail address. And yes, I've talked to the dealer....part is no longer in the system. Thanks for any help ....Bob T.

????..... ...Robert, I think you've got the wrong tractors in mind here. I have(since my post) found out the 5015/20/30 were built by Hinomoto in Japan(go to the Hinomoto forum on the compact tractor site). The 5040/45/50's were built by Long and Fiat of Europe. My part I needed is coming from a dealer w/junked Hinomotos. I STRONGLY advise anyone contemplating buying an older 5015 through 5050(mid 70's-85'), to get as commplete and nice a tractor as you can. These are not good candidates as ones needing major repairs(due to the parts availiability situation).Otherwise they are all great as secondary utility tractors..... ..... .Bob T.

The fact that you're not finding them in scrapyards must say something for their reliability. I've seen quite a few 5015s & 5020s (as well as the green Deutz-Allis version) around my area and everyone I talk to has only good things to say about them.

I don't like the sound of that. I have a 9523 Simplicity, which is about the same thing. The dealer I bought mine from sold a bunch of those to the city, schools, and land scape companys in his area. I will see if he has a place to get parts.

Dick, I called Simplicity and they tell me they get all their utility tractor parts from AGCO...which still means no manifold. PS....don't break any critical parts on yours or you'll end up like me trying to scrounge a part via all these sites and forums!....Bob T.

I'm having the same problem finding a steering
gear for a D-12 series III, 1965.

...Thanks for the sympathy.....Have you tried an ad in "The Old Allis News"? That's my next step. It's just hard to belive none of these are in the yards yet..... .Bob T,
