Does anyone know if a D-17 and a Gleaner E have the same manifold. I know the D-17 is bigger than the WD or WC but I have heard that the Gleaner E is bigger than The D-17 and has better flow is this true?

From what I have seen, the manifold on the 226 gas is the same no matter what its in. The manifolds for the WD aren't made any more. They update to the same as the 226. If its more power you're looking for, have the manifold extrude honed. Thats something the hot rodders do to their intakes. When done, the runners will be machine smooth inside. Hope this helps, Brian.

THE E MANIFOLD HAS AN 45 ELBOW TO CHANGE FOR TRACTOR USE...D-17 MANIFOLDS ARE SOMEWHAT LARGER INSIDE AND BREATH BETTER...THE 170 IS EVEN BIGGER...I WOULD ALWAYS USE THE LATER MANIFOLD IF AVAILABLE...MARK
