Help? Timing CA Flywheel

Please assist. I removed my flywheel off my CA to replace clutch plate and forgot to mark bolts its was removed off. How do I time tractor? My flywheel has 2 marks marked "fire" and 2 marks marked "center". Please give me steps for timing my CA I'm resto

The four bolts will all only line up in one position. After you have the flywheel torqued turn the flywheel so the fire line is centered on the left side. After the engine is bolted onto the torque tube this fire line will want to be centered in the inspection hole on the left side of the torque tube.

Then when every thing is hooked up and ready to run. make sure that the rotor under the distributor cap is pointing toward #1 plug terminal, in the cap, or 10:00 oclock with 12:00 oclock being toward the radiator and between #1 and #2. The distributor turns cloclways and the fireing order is 1-2-4-3. After you the rotor pointing where #1 plug wire is supposed to connect, rotate the distributor back and forth untill the points are (just) ready to open. Not open.
At this point it will run and can be timed to run its best with a light or by hand.

Please explain a little further. My flywheel is off engine. Are you saying it doesn't matter which holes I both it to as long as I retime distribut

No, that is not what I meant. The holes in the flywheel and crankshaft are staggered and all four bolts will only line up in the correct position. They are not staggered by much, but all four will not screw in if your off by one hole. Get one bolt started and try to screw the others with your fingers, If they all won't start take the first bolt out and turn the flywheel clockways one hole and try it again. Repete this untill they all go in with your fingers.
