Just curious as to what y'all think is the prettiest tractor ever made. I saw a poll on TV about the "prettiest car ever built." I have my own opinion (1964 Ferrari 275 GT Coupe), but since "Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder," I will be curious to see the polling results.

I cast my vote for the prettiest tractor ever built to the Allis-Chalmers Model B with the wishbone axle. I think that it has the sleekest, most elegant lines of any tractor. What do you guys think?

My dad and I both vote for the D 21 but the 190's and 200's would have to come in a close second.Someone show this guy a picture of a D21 so he can make his own opinion, since I'm not fortunate enough to own my own.I would enjoy finding out who the winner is at the end.

I would have to say a D21 is the prettiest and a G is the ugliest. I have a G and everyone that sees it that isn't familar with AC tractors will say "what the heck is that thing"

Have you folks ever seen a SMTA Farmall LP gas
tractor restored? #1 in my book and I am an A-C
fan.

Well, I thought I'd throw my 2 cents' worth in. My top 10 (no particular order past #1):
1. AC "CA" What I learned to drive on.
2. AC 200 Especially if it has rally stripes on sides. Most reliable tractor, ever, I think.
3. MM "U" Prairie gold really stands out.
4. Oliver 55,66,77,88. Sharp looking.
5. AC WD45 Another real workhorse.
6. JD 4640 Always liked the looks, and it was a heck of a tractor. 7. Case from '60's Cream and orange are sharp.
8. MM of late '60s & 70s. 9. MF of late '60s
10. Farmall F series Have always thought they kind of cool looking, especially the gray ones.

At are local shows tractor rodeo (driving compitition) we had a sexy tractor compitition. You know like the country song (she thinks my tractors sexy). The people in the audiance voted and my IB Allis won it. I also believe the Massey Harris super 101 and GSA Moline ranks at the top!

I saw a few votes for the 190XT diesel. I would have to agree. Here's my Series II XT diesel:

So, what do you think?

Rick, after looking at our A/C Model B real hard, I've come to the conclusion that the front end looks like it was designed by a lil' girl. It's very weak lookin' especially on steel wheels. Let's not point out its flaws. I hope you're not suffering from the "ugly baby syndrome".

I love AC's (own a wd45) but except for the D series (especially the D17) I wouldn't cast my vote for an AC. I've always thought the Oliver 70 and 80 series are good lookin' and the classic lines of the Farmall M or 300 are pretty nice.

Rick,

I'm sure we'll have a wide variety of opinions here, but I cast my vote for the D10 Series III as the "cutest" tractor. With its sleek D-series lines, white wheels, and white grille, it is irresistable! :-)

B and CA would be a close 2nd :-)

Regards,
Brian
