I promiced my inlaws that I would get there AC running. Where do I find the VIN number so that I can get parts? I have know idea the year or model but they owned it when I started dating my wife in 1967.The front wheels are close to each other, if that helps. Thank you all in advance. Jay

Jay, to cover most of the Allis models, look just in front of the shift, or on the flat surface of the bell housing, where the engine bolts to the bell housing. Allmost all of the serial numbers incorparate the model number in the serial number. I hope this helps you out, and good luck with your project. Darrell (MN)

What you are after is the serial number, not the VIN. Not to put you down, but AC made about a million tractors with narrow fronts, under about 15 different model numbers. Can you give some more information about the tractor? Wheel sizes, any numbers found on castings, etc. See anything like it in the AC photo gallery?

some parts numbers are 3645 and a number sitting on the bell housing is 200931 i thought this was the serial number at first but i can't find any serial numbers matching it.
their is a tractor that looks a lot like the 1948 AC WD posted by john celemmons i think the tire was 11-8 if i rember right the tractor is at my school so i can't go look for it.
