D17 Roosa-Master Injection pump

I have had no luck finding any advice on repair and polishing of the injector pump head and rotor and any tips on home repair of this pump from a 1956 AC D17. The injection repair shops want more than twice what I paid for the tractor! They say the head and rotor are stuck together, I guess from rust since the tractor sat up for several years. They want $3900 for a new pump and $1000 to repair with rebuilt parts. They say the head and rotor are $700 parts.

Any advice on disassembly and repair of a "stuck" head and rotor assembly in this D17 pump would be appreciated. I have experience polishing fiber optics and mirrors and with some basic advice I believe I can get this nice tractor up and running again. Or if you have a used pump for sale let me know. All comments are welcomed!

You need to take the pump to another shop. Sounds like a lot of money. If it was a psb pump I would believe it. Rossa masters are cheaper to work o

I have a D19 diesel engine that is in parts. The injector pump worked when the engine spun a bearing. Will a D19 injector pump work on your D17? I'd be willing to sell it. I also have the turbo and manifold if you want to bump up the horsepower. But someone is interested in the turbo at the moment.
