Model B skips when hot

Once it gets good and warm in the opperating temp., it starts to skip. I can add a little choke and it will clear up for a little while. But if it cuts off I'll have to let it set for 30 to 45 minutes before it will crank again, providing I'm holding my mouth wright. When it's cold it starts right up. Was told it could be a stopped up fuel screen, I replaced that. Was told that I had water in gas, I drained the tank and carb., and put in fresh gas with a lead additave. I checked the air filter, no problems there ether. Could it be vaper-locking? If so, what do I need to do to solve problem? Also I counted the turns on the main jet and it was opened 3 1/2 turns, is this wright?

If when it stops, and you take the gas line off at the carb. (and you need to) if you still have a good flow of gas, then you can be fairly sure you don't have dirt in the line. This would take you to a vacuum problem. when you add chock you are directing more vacuum towards pulling gas through your carb. It could be a gasket problem at the head or a crack in the manifold. Happens, but not often. I am still thinking scales in the inlet of the sediment bowl and bottom of your tank.
