Both of the replys are correct. There are two distinct engines in the B (well, actually 3, but hte first one wasn't an Allis and they only built 100 or so so I'm going to ignore them). On the right rear of the engine, on the torque tube mounting area, there will be a stamped engine code. The first series were BE code engines and had the low horsepower. The later series were CE engines, have a bigger bore, and are shared with the "C". FYI, I have never seen a distillate "B", although one suspects that they exists. May "C"'s have the distillate intake with the heater port cast in, and I know that this intake will fit the B.

The book for my 1948 B says 16.31 at belt and 13.54 at drawbar.

My information is from Nebraska Test #439 conducted May 17-24, 1950 for a A-C Model B with gasoline engine with a 1/8" larger bore than Nebraska Test #302 which was for a A-C Model B useing distillate fuel. I think you may have the information on test #302 for ditillate.
