Would like advice on obtaining a 3ph for a '54 Allis Model CA. Where available, and how successful? Can a guy make one?

I have a 53 CA I purchased a 3pt hitch kit from Norm in Burbon In. It works very well. Cost was 270.00 plus 40.00 shipping to NY. I don't think You could make one this nice cheaper than that.

Wow, $270 is a bargain. I made mine by attaching a weldment to the draw bar which supports the pins for the lower arms and anti-sway arms. For the top link I welded a bracket to the lift arm bar. I used Ford 8N lower arms and adjustable lift rods. I spent a lot of time designing and fabricating, it maintains the function of the draft control and it only requires 2 pins to be pulled to restore it back to a snap coupler. It is doable to make one, but trust me $270 sounds like a bargain. Might want to check out John's source before you attempt to build one. I spent around $150.
