I have an Allis Chalmers tractor that I am trying to identify. There are no readable emblems except for a wiring diagram on a side panel. There is a engine
number directly below the spark plugs which appears to read "N AM-2916-13". Also on top of the rear axle is a "3-31" and "AM3219-5" on the back side.

Does anyone know if this tractor can be identified by these or are there other specifics that I should be looking for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Joe

Larry

Thanks for the advice. We located the tractor number (C20341). This means a model AC-C. How can I identify the year? I'm trying to determine what the value of this tractor is.

Based on some of the items I've read on this site, the models B & C seem to be looked down upon. Do you know why that is?

Thanks for your help.

Joe

From that number it should be a 1942

Those are all just casting numbers. Perhaps some more learned AC fans can determine what you have from those, but I'm going to need more info. Looks, engine size, tranny, stuff like that. Have you tried looking at the pictures in the links at the bottom of these pages?
