I have a Allis Chalmers s/n on left side of block AM-2916-11 back of block BE29174 I would like to know what year vintage this tractor is? Also I have measured the crank shaft rod bearing throw at 1.934" can anyone tell me what standard should be?

BE is the engine family which is the B 116 CID engine. 29174 is the engine S/N (the AM # is a casting number for the bare block) and would correlate to a 1939 B. The crankpin diameter should be 1.937". Sounds like you need a .002 under bearing set or turn the crank to .010 under if the crankpins aren't perfectly round. There may be an option for .005 under, but I'm not sure about the availability on that one.
