Wd power steering

does anybody know if I can put power steering on my 1952 wd. I have a char-lynn power steering motor.will the pump on the tractor work or do i need someting else. thank you.

You will need an external pump, it must always be live. If you use the internal pump it will shut
off the power streering every time you pull in the clutch. I have seen a WD with the Char-lynn
power unit. The power unit is supplied by a pump
mounted above the water pump. You will most likely
need a crankshaft pully made for two belts.

A friend of mine used a steering pump from a chevy truck and the char-lynn motor and worked fine. You will have to use another external pump
