WD headlight

Hi, I have a 50 WD with what i think are maybe original headlights. they are on a 8" tube that goes into the side of the tractor just ahead of the gas tank. One of them isn't working and I would like to see how the glass reflector is mounted in the houseing. I can take the lense off and remove the twist-in bulb, but can not seem to get the reflector portion to come out. One light isn't working and i need to get inside that part to repair what ever is wrong with it. Did not want to pry too hard for fear of cracking the glass reflector part. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

TRY TIGHTENING THE SET SCREW THAT HOLDS THE PIPE THAT THE LIGHT IS MOUNTED ON. WHEN EVER MY LIGHTS STOP WORKING ON MY WD45, ITS BECAUSE THEY HAVE LOST A GOOD GROUND. IF YOUR BULB IS GOOD, I THINK THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM.

The reflector base just sits in the housing with no retainer except the clamping force
of the lens & gasket. Yours is just stuck but
don't worry about cracking it - it is metal.
You should find a brass tab riveted to the hsng
that is supposed to be pinched under the reflector
lip to ground it. You can solder a wire to the back side of the reflector to take to ground if
necessary.

Thank you very much for the replies. i will try the chassis ground first and if that fails i will dismantle and rewire the ground lug. thank you guys very much.
