I have a 3 bottom plow for my AC WD. It is a snap coupler. I need to know how to make it plow deeper. Can the plow be adjusted to go deeper or is the depth controlled with the hydralic adjustment (by the steering wheel).

I have set the hydraulic lift arms for drawbar control (as instructed on the battery box). It doesn't seem to affect the depth though. When the plow is lowered it sits on the ground and is driven down only by the weight of the plow, or the natural pull of the plow through the soil. Are the hydralics also supposed to "push" the plow into the ground?

If the ground is not to hard and your plow is sharp enough it should almost bury your plow.As far as hydraulics go there is no down pressure from a WD.

A new set of plow points will help.

THERE SHOULD BE A CRANK ON THE PLOW THAY WHEN CRANKED ONE WAY OR THE OTHER WILL FORCE THE PLOW TO GO DEEPER.

LARRY'S RIGHT ABOUT THE CRANK. A PLOW WILL SEEK ITS OWN LEVEL, SO IF YOU DRAW THE REAR OF PLOW UP HIGHER THAN FRONT, IT WILL HAVE TO DRAFT DEEPER TO BE LEVEL. THE 3 PT. FULLY MOUNTED TYPE ARE ADJ. BY SHORTING THE CENTER LINK. GOOD LUCK & HAPPY FURROW FILLIN! ARTY
