Backhoe for "B"?

Anybody ever fit an aftermarket backhoe to a model B? Just geting into this tractor "thing", but really need a backhoe. Woods puts out a backhoe but needs 50 plus horsepower. Whats the horsepower of a B? Any comments greatly appreciated.

You can do it if you want to massacre a nice little cultivating tractor, but Id much prefer something a little bigger. Oliver 550 or a Ford 500-800 series.

This is NOT NOT Not what you do with such a machine !!!!!
Please go find a junker of a farm tractor to put a hoe on !
Besides mis-treating a fine old machine you need to get something from the mid- 60's up with a diesel, power steering and a loader on the front for counter balance wouldn't hurt
those little hoes can put a lot of strain on a smaller and old lift system !
please re-think this move !

It may be able to run a tile spade but I doubt it

There's backhoe plans for a 20HP tractor at

You would probably want to design a
frame to distribute the the forces on
the tractor. You would need a PTO pump
for adequate capacity.
