I want to replace the governor on my C with a new or rebuilt one. Does anyone know where I can get a complete governor with weights, washers, and springs? One from Farm and Country catalog does not come with the weights, washers, or springs. My governor doesn't seem to look like any of the pictures in my parts manual so I think some parts may be missing. The previous owner also said the governor didn't work properly. My solution is to put in a completely new one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

Mine did not work correctly either, until I replaced the spring that has the small round piece of steel in the middle of it. Someone had stretched the spring just a little to much putting it on. This allowed it idle down to far before it would start to pickup, causing it to surge. Hope this helps.

Try Roger VanCamp in Ft. Wayne, IN. Phone 219-747-3455. He specializes in B & C parts. Tell him Paul from Michigan sent you. Good Luck, Paul
