D17 IV or WD-45?

I currently own a '68 AC180 and am in the market for a second tractor...something good for lighter work. I really like the D17, but have a WD-45 available to me in good shape. Which am I better off with and what's a fair price on the WD? Any help is much appreciated!!

A average price for a good running wd-45 is somewere between $1200.and $1600 depending on options and upgrades.

Mike, Bryan has the 45 pegged right. I've got both and the D-17IV will cost you 3000 to 4000 for a good one. 17 will also do more weight and hydraulic wise. If all you are going to do is some mowing, blade and wagon work get the 45 it's more fun and easier to work on. John

I've opperated both a D-17 and a WD-45. if you are going to do any amount of heavy pulling, then the 17 is the way to go. It's more money, but the Power Director is worth it. If you just need a tractor for light duty work, the 45 is a real value.
