When was this thing built, how rare is it, etc? I guess its a model K, there is a "K" enclosed in a diamond on the radiator side. My farm tractor history book shows a "KO" but no "K". Any info would be appreciated.

They did make a K-35 from 1929 until 1935 when they changed over to the KO. Do you have a serial #? The K-35 started at 1 and went through 36XX, the KO starts at 6001 through 93XX.

Thanks, Ron.

The AC model K crawler was originally developed as the Monarch model 35. Production continued till 1943. The steering wheel was used up to serial number 4451 in 1935. That same year AC offered the model KO. That model had the same chassis
but was equipped with a Waukesha-Hesselmann oil engine. The model KO was only offered in 1935. The engine was rated at 930 rpm, with a 4 3/4 in. bore and a 6 1/2 in. stroke. It pulled 8450 lbs. for a maximum 40.99 drawber horsepower. Total
weight was 10,680 lbs. it puled 79% of its own weight. The early model had a 35 cast on the side of the radiator and the later models had a K cast in a diamond on the side of the radiator. I haven't a clue what one is worth. Alan Draper of Bishopstone
of Salisbury, Wiltshire, Great Britain owns one if your are really interested in the price.
