I just bought a 1953 WD-45, and now I have to
go pick it up (it and I are both in Minnesota)
It has a loader, and I was told that an 18'
should work (barely, I was told). How about
width, and weight rating?

I bought a WD-45 with loader, 2btm plow and blade in MO and hauled it back home to WY on an eighteen foot trailer with 7000# rating behind my full sized Dodge van using an equalizer hitch with absolutely no problems.

Dale,
I would suggest at least a 6,000 lb. rated trailer. The 18' suggestion sounds about right too. Make sure the tires on the trailer are rated for more than you will be hauling. A blowout with a loaded trailer ain't fun, I speak from experience.

dale, i hauled my WD, a set of two bottoms, and a 6' back blade on my 16' car hauler. you may have to shift the wheels in to get it on the trailer. i love the guy that came up with the power shift wheels. good luck.
