I have two parts tractors that I'm making into one for the purpose of pulling. The serial #'s for the two are 31986 & 32785, does anyone know the years of them? Would the transmissions be interchangable between the two? What would the ground speeds be for all gears(need to know tire size)? And lastly was there any allis kit or aftermarket kit to slow the speeds down even more?

#1. Both tractors are 1937. #2. Yes, the transmissions will interchange. #3. To properly calculate ground speed. the tire size would help but more improtantly the inflated tire diameter is needed. #4. If you can find one, there is a stepdown made by Sherman (I think).

Are the transmissions from newer WCs and WD's interchangable too? I'm probably going to run 38's on the rear if that would help anyone calculate the ground speed.

All WC transmissions will fit. The WD is a different animal.
