I have a 53 wd45 gas wide front. It has a 3 point convesion on it. My problem is the hyd. will not stop any where in the middle.The lift is going up or down regardless of how finely you try to tune the lift lever.Makes it a real pain trying to grade or mow or anything else for that matter.Any help is greatly appreciated,thanks.

John, Do what Gordon suggests he is correct. Also, you may want to check the screw at the bottom of the pump housing so that the screw is turned into the body - there is a depression to turn it into. This will deactivate the tracton booster system which causes the pump to transfer weight when plowing to the rear wheels. When you are grading and if this is not completed it would cause the pump to activate raising the blade. There was a diagram on the side of the battery box which shows this in detail. There are three different settings using screws A - D. Let me know if you do not have it and I will try to talk you through it. Good Luck! Bill Long [email protected]

John: It sounds like your hold position valve on top of the pump is locked open in the traction booster position. Turn the screw on the hold position valve out of the body and into the plate to lock the two plates together and I think that you will find that you will be able to hold the blade where you want it.
