D-14 starter removal

The starter in my D-14 has failed and I'm having trouble getting it out of the bell housing. I've removed the set-bolt from the right hand side, but the starter won't budge. What am I missing?

if the starter has not come loose at the bell housing at all yet, then you just need a brass drift or piece of hard wood and a hand slegde to break it loose from the housing. but, keep in mind the setscrew needs to be completely removed or i can hang you up. regards, grapeape

I finally broke it loose. After two days of squirting with penetrating oil, I cut small metal wedges and drove them in on top and bottom. Then I tapped on the case at the end opposite the drive. After about an hour and a half the vibration worked and it started to move. After another 1/2 hour of wedging, prying and wiggling the starter came out.
