Operating model 60 combine

When I was riding in one of those brand new John Deere combines with the 30 foot head and air conditioning, there was a guage called a Harvestrack that told you if you can go faster or if you should go slower to operate the combine at maximum compacity without jamming it. I know that on a model 60 they don't have these, but how do you tell if you can go faster or if you should go slower?

One good way to know you were going too fast on a Model 60 AC combine was that if it plugged up, the old man will be on your back and you can bet you were going too fast. However, we never really had a problem with that, the old man was watching. I think I put 100,000 miles on one of those!!! I really enjoyed that. BUT.....no plastic, no stereo, no air conditioner, no computers, just me and the WC pulling to 60!!!!!
