I have a 1941 "b" that I am restoring. The existing fronts are 5.60-15. I would like to replace them with something as original as possible. Would that be three rib? What size, 400-15, 500-15? Also the same questions will apply to the rear. Thanks in advance.

Terry,
I believe that you are correct on the 5.00X15 size. That's what I have on my B and my RC (and my Farmall B as well).

According to the A-C "B" Manual: Front 4:00 X 15 Rear 9 X 24 (Optional: 10 X 24) The picture on the cover shows the rears as the traditional bar type tires of today, but the fronts are the single rib such is as used on a lot of the 9N Fords. One other picture within the manual shows the single rib tire, but all the others show the more traditional 3-rib tire. There is one picture showing the rear tires to be of (what I call) the "connected bar" style. Of course A-C is careful to make sure that the brand name of the tires doesn't show so as to not offend any of their suppliers (I guess). Brian G.

4.00 - 15 single rib fronts would be correct, for the year of your tractor 8:00 - 24 would be correct for the rear, AC liked firestone ground-grip rears or US Royal connected bar patterns

The manual makes no mention of 8:00X24 tires; only 9:00X24 with 10:00X24 as optional.
