I used to have a Farmall C that did the same thing after having the head reworked. I traded it off and the man I traded it to replaced the head gasket and it quit smoking. It seems there was a small leak from an oil passage into a combustion chamber, sucking oil in every intake stroke. I had replaced the gasket when I had the head redone and torqued the head to spec, retorqued after about five hours of running. The man said that the gasket he used was fiber all over and the one I got with the kit had metal showing on one side and around the cylinders on the other side. Strange, but true. Might be worth a shot.

Rings, Check compression. Even better check static compression with air compressor.
