-What is the difference between the D-17 head and the head off a Gleanor E combine engine? Do they have the same bolt patterns and does one create more horsepower than the other?

-Has anyone heard of a Johnson manifold that fits on the WC's and WD's? If so where can I find one?

-And lastly, does anyone have a D-17 carb for sale or know where to get one?

Ryan,

I can't help you with the last two, but regarding your first question, both the D17 and the E used the 52hp G226 4-cyl. gas engine. The E motor will bolt right into a D17. Except for a few minor governor mods (and the fact that the E motor uses a fuel pump), it is a bolt-in conversion.

Good luck,
Brian
