Just popped over from the �N Board, shhhh don� tell. Looked at a nice D15, series II today and am curious what you all think it might be worth. Owner wasn�t home at the time so couldn�t start it up or ask the price. It has a 3pt. hitch and a swinging drawbar. The sheet metal looks really good, the paint is fair. Front tires are good, back tires not so good. The proofmeter shows 3300 hrs. Has not been convertered to an alternator, the amp and oil gauges look fairly new, the other gauges are unreadable. A KingKutter 6� blade was attached so I presume it goes with it. Where can I find specs for this and other D series? If it�s still there next weekend will definitely want to see what kind of deal could be made.

Jim,

In central Missouri, a D15 II will usually bring around $4000 to $4500. The Series I tractors bring a little less, around $3500 to $4000. On the Series II, 28 inch tires were an option. Most around here are running 28 inch tires. They are a really sweet tractor, especially with the factory 3-pt, coming in around 47 hp.

A D15 in good shape, wide front, gas, power steering, typically brings around $3,500. The rear rims are an odd size 26". So tires cost a little more than a standard tire. Drive the tractor for a while in every gear to make sure it doesn't pop out of gear. Good Luck!
