I need a distance metering device for a pulling sled. Thank you for your consideration.

Hi, Run one of those walking wheels of the rear tires on the sled. Another way is to bolt a tape of a tape measure to the frame of the sled and have a pointer on the box. Then where the box stops the distance is measured on the sled not the track. Some people don't like this but if it is the same for everybody it is ok.

i especially like the tape on the side of the sled. it's fair, cheap, and reliable. sometimes the distance wheels slip, or get stuck. if you really want to spend the big $$ you could buy a laser.

The appearance of matching sleeves, pistons, rings, and bearings can cause frustration and agony if not properly measured and installed in a workshop environment. Following c ... [Read Article]
