: Hey every one, Was just given a 1941 WC bought new by my wifes grandfather : runs well still cranks on the second or third spin if you hand crank it, : have a couple of questions though..... : Two of the pushrods were bent many years ago, and the valves were adjusted to compensate : for this, I would love to replace them if a set could be fpond, or atleast a couple. : Since this model has no foot brakes and uses two levers, should they spring back to the rear when you release them, mine don't. : last for 3ow..... the tractor has sat and pulled a mill for the last 15 yrs or so and cornmeal has rotted the radiator sheet metal : pretty bad at the bottom..... since you don't see many parts WC's Would the one out of a WD or WD-45 work? Many thanks.... : and more questions to come for sure!!!! go orange ! Joe: My 1939 WC brake levers will kinda flop back by themselves after applieing the brakes. they don't spring back rapidly. Plug your vent hole below your axle housing and pour some mineral spirts into the brake housing. Now remove your plug and watch for desbrie to come out, you will be surprized what can come out. This will make them work better also. As for pushrods your AC dealer should be able to get them. If not Farm & Country has them for $8.99 each.
