Pulling with WD 45 or D17 diesel

Hi, I believe the question should be, "How much money do you have to spend.?" I believe this is a wet sleeve block so boring is really out of the question. The sleeve holes need to be bored out and a NEW sleeve furnace brazed into the hole. The bore limit would be the bore size that would fit when the sleeve are touching each other on the side. Stroke: Ultiimately the stroke is limited by how small of rod journal will handle the load. Diesel has a much more violant explosion than gasoline so the rod journal can not be decreased as much in size, so the stroke can't be increased as much. Since though we are increasing the stroke and decreasing the rod journal size we willl need new connecting rods. Also remember the connecting rod can't hit the camshaft. Unless your heart is can only be set on build this thing you should consider one more thing. These have an obsolete Lanova cylinder head. The ineffecient thing was a stumbling situation for diesel power when it was made. Detriot Desiel was much more advanced than the Lanova was twenty years prior.
