Could somebody tell me the main differences between a WC and Wf model.
I think I have a 1937 WF but I would like to be sure. Thanks

Clive,
The WF is the "standard" version of the WC. It has a non adjustable wide front, but otherwise is similar to the WC. Rob is correct, all AC tractors serial numbers are prefixed with the model designation. Sorts makes it easy to identify one.
The S/N should be stamped in a raised area just above center of the differential housing (on the "pumpkin"). Just above the S/N will be stamped "TRACTOR NO" and the lower line is the S/N.

What is the serial number? A WC sn should begin with a WC, and a WF would start with a WF. Both models' serial number should be stamped on the rear differential housing.
