WD45 Shifter problems

Can anyone tell me if there is a kit containing the seal and lock ring for the shifter on a WD45? My shifter lifts up causing the transmission to lock in gear. Trying to plant dear one's winter flowers, so she said I could actually buy a tractor part. Thanks, Terry

Had same problem, replaced lockring, welded up shifter ball and pins, not much help. Fixed it like this: made an L-shaped bracket that attaches to steering column, shifter fits through a big hole in bracket. The bracket has about a 2" diameter coil compression spring under it that presses down against the lockring. I think we got the spring from a VW bug shifter, not sure, any spring of the right diameter will probably do. The spring holds the shifter down in the cover, keeps it from popping out of the forks. Hasn't locked up since. Good luck, Freddy

Get dear one a boy friend, that will give you more time to spend on your tractor. next find a agco dealer to get your parts .even better have dear one and her boy friend pick them up for you.
