I am having a tough time having thr correct paint mixed for persian orange #1. The ppg Ditzler code everyone throws out as correct, DAR 60080 turned out too dark, obviously persian orange #2. I was trying to have it mixed as a urethane. The nnnnn nnnNAPA # 99L-3723 is an acrylic enamel # and at $90.00 per gallon plus another $35.00 or so for the hardener, why not move up to a urethane? If I do that, hoever, I'm afraid of the conversion problem. What do you guys use? I don't mind paying three prices for paint if it is durable and the correct color! I've painted a lot of tractors with the Farm and Fleet brand at $18.99 per gallon and they turned out great but there is always the chalking problem and it is the wrong color if you are trying to do it right. I called Rich Stevens at FarMart and he does not have persian orange #1 available at this time.

The DAR60080 is the correct paint for the Persian Orange #1. Maybe there was a mistake in the mixing formula, but that number has always served me well. I've used that and DULUX008DH, and parked side by side you can't tell the difference. That's on five tractors and several pieces of machinery. FARMMART says they will have the correct color mixed if they get enough calls for it, at $28 per gallon, keep those phone lines hummin folks. ph (800)860-1810.Good Luck. TED
