1938 WC,looking at front of tractor,on the top L/H side of the radiator cover is a quarter size
hole.I notice a lot of A/C have it.
Anyone know its purpose?? THANKS

Is this a styled or unstyled WC. I think 38's should be unstyled, but someone may have put styled tin on it. If it's styled, then the shutter idea is correct. If it's styled, then it might not be the correct tin, as they weren't styled till 74xxx serial numbers (late 38 production, and very rare).

I have a CA that has louvers in front of the radiator. There is a small "crank" that goes through this hole to open/close the louvers.

But the hole for the crank to run the shutters is on the right side.
