I was wondering if anybody could supply me with the TRUE weight of the Model "C" with Adjustable wide front axle. I do NOT have any ballast in the tires and I have a 12 volt battery installed, other than that everything is stock as shipped from the factory in 1947. Thanks in advance for your time.

Many thanks to Kip/Utah for the weight information. My tractor is strictly show, I do not do any competition pulling with my "C". It is very rare to find a fellow AC fan who owns a C with the adjustable wide front -- I have been all across the country and not seen very many. By the way, I needed the weight info. for trailering/towing purposes.

Scale yes if you can, a popular pulling C with lighter weight rear wheels was weighted under 2400 lbs with a tricyle front end. Normal weight would be about 2600+ with tricycle. How much more would wide front weight? I quessing bare about 2800lbs. As far as towing 2800 or 3000 would not make much difference, if you want to pull it, then weight it to be sure.

Thanks for the information, it was very helpful. I am not looking for weight in regards to pulling but instead for towing purposes. You solved both for me.

True weight is impossible to tell you because it varies a lot. empty tank or full tank of fuel will add 50lbs or more to it. Now my farm equipment guide list it at 3000lbs but not sure if that for the wide front which would add a little to it. Only way for you to know 100% correct what it is would be to load it up and haul it to a scale
