Hi friends!
Finaly, I got my Allis B running (?) Belive it or not! But, she runs very poor and bad. (she runs "best" on flat ground in 2:nd gear and under no "load") I placed the old coil and condenser back and now she fires up, but as soon as i put her under load (slightly uphill small grade) she starts to loose power and spitts/blurrs again. (spitting out some small white/blue "puffs" of smoke) My question is; If, lets say, there is a broken piston ring or a broken headgasket is this the way she could behave then? or is it still some trouble with the ignition? Would she run at all? fire up, run (but bad) during idle if there were a broken ring or so?
Oh, I would do anything to get my sweetie to run like a "swiss watch" again...

Are you sure you have a counter clock ways rotation of the rotor in the magneto? That would be the first thing I would check after reading your old post. It could be correct but not normal for ours over here. To check timing you can inch the crank over and when number one cylinder fires the center or TDC line should be centered in the inspection hole on the left side of the torque tube. (easy double check of timing)
Firing order is 1243 . If it were me I would take all the spark plugs out and place them on the plug wires. With a strip of metal I would clamp all four plugs to the metal strip and ground the strip to the tractor. As I turned the crank to the compression stroke on number one I would watch for the spark. I would watch for the next spark and mark it number 2. The next spark would be number 4. The next spark would be number 3.
I would then double check the spark and spark firing order. Like sawing a board, check twice and saw once.
This would prove rotation as well as the proper location of the plug wires. If you have good spark for each plug then all you then need is good compression and proper fuel. You do need solid wire plug wires.

I would start it up and then carefully take one plug off at a time to see if it might be running on only 2 or 3 cylinders. If you find that by doing so one or 2 make no difference in how it runs then maybe check the valves to make sure there all set right. Also maybe do a compression check. If you then find low compression on one or 2 cylinders then maybe a head gasket or a valve problem. Not often that a broken ring will do what your is doing but a head gasket or valve problem can. Or even a problem with the carb being clogged up and running on the lean side

pelle - You sure have some problems. 1. The mag is 'C' for clockwise rotation. 2. The firing order is 1-2-4-3. 3. No. 1 plug is next to the radiator. Time on TDC. I assume you have new plugs. If gas will run out of the mainjet plug you should have no fuel problem. When you get it started, ground out one plug at a time to determine which cylinder is not firing if it is running rough.
