Chad, Many older coil ignition tractor ignition switches (keyed or toggle or push) are simply 2 terminal On/Off SPST switches and by pass jumping around them by temporarily joining the 2 wires will feed hot voltage to the coil. On some Magneto ignitions that use a switch, it serves as a "kill switch" and switches a wire up from the mag to frame ground to kill the spark but allows it to fire when its opened (not grounded).

Simple 2 terminal On/Off SPST generic keyed switches are common as apple pie and available at auto or tractor supply stores.....

If all you need to do is move the tractor put a jumper wire from the battery to the coil and you are in business.

You can get new keys from AGCO if you still have the factory switch.

Before you go cobbling something up you should also consider getting a new switch, it won't be any more expensive than a toggle switch and all the aggravation from not having a proper setup.
