This message is for you other AC owners out there who
may have experienced a similar problem - or are about
to! My D14, with fresh electrics, newly cleaned carb, etc. was running like the veritable clock, when last week, it would refuse to run consistently, killing at
will, etc. Finally, it refused to start, period! I was at my wits end - having gone AGAIN through the electric components, carb, fuel filter, lines, tank
the whole works, but everything seemed to check out
just fine! It finally dawned on me that the problem may lie with the keyed ignition switch, so off to Fleet Farm I went again, and bought and installed a
2-pole generic keyed switch for $4.95, and lo and
behold, she fired up in an instant. Just another one for the chaeckout list!
