Looking at a 1979 7060 with a Dual loader for using as a loader tractor. Can anyone share any problems or pluses? It appears to have a bad or messed up parking cable and the other couple things the dealer told me wasa noise in power steering as well as sometimes a fuse blows. Please reply with any advice and suggestions on problem areas as well as value.

I have a 1977 model 7060 has duals and weights front and back. Tires are 50% but weather checked. It has A.C. but needs to be charged. The seat needs to be replaced, but usable, the cab interior should be replaced, but all the glass is in good shape. I put 2 new batteries in, and it runs real strong. I gave $4500.00 for it. The parking cable isn't real easy to get at, especially on top of the trans. and will probably cost $60.00 for a new one. Hope this info. helps.....

I dont know what kind of loader work you do but this is not a trac tor for small areas. the clutches tend to be a little jumpy. the trans p.s. or p.d. are not set up well for that kind of work. might be ok for occational loader work
