The B is not what you would call a collectable if you are talking money value. There are thousands of them in many contries. They are a really nice tractor with a long engine life.
Look for smoke out of the exhaust and make sure it stays in all 3 gears. If it smokes or jumps out of a gear talk the price down some.

The first official B was serial #1 in 1938 and the last was serial #127461. The total production was 118101 with some of the balance being IB tractors (about 3000). There are a lot of these tractors. They are very popular for small operations and can be purchased for as low as $500 for a running B to as much as $2500 for a nice one with a finish mower and working hydraulics. The blue book high retail goes up to $2600 for a 1957 model. The high used trade in is up to $1570 for a 1955 model. Most can be purchased from owners for less then $1000.

1937s were sort of experimental, extremally rare. 38s are a little more common, that was tecnicially the first production year, 1939 was when they started cranking them out left and right. I know it lasted into the 50s
