Front hubs on B

Several years ago I saw a "B" with the front wheels riveted to the hubs. Was this possibly one of the '37's ?

I"ve got a B/C hybrid (early B front & C back half). The front rims are a cast iron? center with wedge bolts to attach the outer rim. I was under the impression they were used in 1938. It also has a 1938 cylinder head and valve cover with two hold downs. Anyone know about these type rims?

To answer the first guy, Moonlite. No. The rivited front wheel and hubs used in 38 and 39 were not ever used on the first Bs built in 1937. 1937 Waukesha engine Bs had 6 bolt automotive type front wheels.

The '39 B we bought in '50 had rivoted fronts and the '38 B I have has rivoted fronts. I'm pretty confident of the history of these two tractors and belive them to be original as shipped. The '38 B has only 6" wide rear wheels and long lugs that seat in clips at the bead line of the rear wheel.

in 38-39 they had a couple different styles. one was the hub rivited to the wheel, then the rim bolted to the wheel dish which was part of the hub. by the mid 1940, they switched to the auto motive type 5 bolt pattern.

my 39 b had them on it, i replaced them with 5 bolts because the rivets were shot and im a cheapskate. Im told 39, 38, and 37s had them

From what I have been told by some guys who eat and breath AC, wheels riveted to the hubs are on 1939 models only. Several years ago I bought a 1951 B from Burgh Implement in W Pa.. The front wheels where junk. I was told to go into the junk yard and find a good set of wheels. After I finished restoring it I took it to a local show. These 2 old timers told me I had the wrong front wheels on my tractor. Guess what. I still hasve the wrong front wheels on my tractor.
