pondering on making the two cylinders that act as the air compressor part of the engine . any ideas on what type of head might fit those two cylinders or if its possible to add spark plugs to the compressor head . i know that it would be a 2 stroke type if you used the compressor head. two cylinders of 5 /4.5 stroke would help the 226 cubed motor out tremendously. just have to get the timing right.

You have a LEROI-TRACTAIR which were made by the CENTAUR TRACTOR CORP.in GREENWICH ,OHIO.LEROI was a major compressor manufacturer for many years.They also made the model KVM which had the same trans and final drive.They also made a 36 inch model 1-14inch(OLIVER PLOW) and a one row cultivator also by(OLIVER)All these had the same4 speed transmission which gave all 2.5 in low,5mph in second,10 mph in third and 20mph in forth,at full governor speed .The gov. was adjustable but would lose sensitivity to the load.

:D centaur have you ever torn one of the engines down if so is there provisions for a cam to extend through to the rear of the block?

could you imagine a six cylinder that would fit a wd 45 with 683 cubic inches for pulling . a 5.8 stroke like my puller with six 5 inch bores instead of four 4 5/8. somebody tell me im not dreaming and its posible.please.
