I just purchased the book "ALLIS-CHALMERS TRACTORS" by Wendell and Morland. On page 81 is a WD that appears to be a much brighter orange. All of the AC's that I have seen appear to be very dull in appearance. Could this is "brighter" orange be factory?

Most of the trators pictured in that book have been restored and may not have the same shade of paint as they had from the factory. AC has used three versions of "Allis Chalmers Orange". Persian Orange until about 1960; Persian Orange No. 2 from 1960 to 1977; and Corporate Orange after 1977. Each version of the AC orange was darker and more red than the preceeding shade.
