NO- I know that I get beached at for always saying- buy the op and service manuals- what.....$40 for the pair?...but you guys would save a lot of grief if you would simply do that. These are tractors that were designed for most repair jobs to be done by farmers that grew up with horses!

Doesn't cost anything to ask. Just put a clutch in my Case 1294. Repair manual at CIH is $585.

The only way they come out is through the top. Usual difficulty is getting the 3/4 inch bottom pin out. Usually well rusted. I prefer to drill a 3/4 hole in flat stock, slip it over the pin and weld it in place. Makes a good handle to wiggle with, heat of welding helps loosen. I&T AC-11 manual has the details on brake work.
