Can someone tell me the approx going price for a D17 series II tractor, 2,900 hrs. new paint, 80% tires, AC 11ft wheel Disc, AC Sickle Mower, & AC 7ft. Blade.(EQUIPT. was purchased with tractor.) $6,000 sounds a little high to me. Live in the Southern Part of Illinois. Apprec. any help. thanks.

With the tractor in very good condition and the implements that you described $6000 may not be out of line. I have seen 3 or 4 pretty rough to fair tractors sell for about $2500 in the past few months. With original implements the price can escalate rather quickly

You do not see too many D17's in my area (Ontario) anymore. But i rebuilt a D17 diesel for a customer of mine. It ended up costing $8000.00 when i was done. He was glad to spend the money because he could not part with the tractor.
